Hi and welcome! I’m Dr. Yusra Alkasasbeh—an economist passionate about development, gender, and tackling inequality in all its forms. I earned my PhD in Economics from Howard University, where my research focused on inequality of opportunity in Jordan.
I also hold a master’s in Finance and Banking from the Institute of Banking Studies in Amman.
I have extensive teaching experience and currently teach at Northeastern University, where I help students connect economic theory to real-world challenges.
My research continues to explore how gender, education, and labor market dynamics shape opportunities—especially in the MENA region.
Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to explore my work, papers, and projects.
